I am tired of hearing and reading about COVID too. It is exhausting to say the least. My crystal ball has been pretty good to date. This is what it is saying now and what you should do:
1. I don't think the government will shut us down again. However, due to the increased spike in cases, I do see a trend where people are starting to pull back and self quarantine again. This is what you should do now:
a. Make sure that you have enough cash on hand, or available credit in case your income drops again
b. Try to set up some subscription based or home-based service in just in case
c. Look at your investments and shift them to income producing to offset any drop income
2. Revisit your vision. In the wake of COVID has your vision changed? What opportunity do you see as a result of COVID? How do you tap that opportunity?
3. You must ramp up your lead generation techniques and strategies. As the available population shrinks you must increase exposure to gain more market share. This is what you should do now:
a. Create an ideal target client/customer/patient
b. Create a market dominating position based upon the conversation that is taking place in their head
c. Develop a strategic plan
d. deploy the plan and measure the results
4. Take a look at your trust-factor. People will not buy from you if they do not trust you. Take an inventory of what you do to promote trustworthiness. What to do now:
a. Give more service than you are paid for
b. Help people. Just help them. Forget about money. The money will always work itself out.
c. Treat each client/customer/or patient as though they were paying you $50,000 per month
5. Stop stressing. Read motivational books and listen to motivational MP3's and You Tube Videos.
6. Be grateful for what you have
