I hope that this newsletter finds you safe and healthy. The key to surviving this crisis and then thriving after it ends is to deploy your action steps QUICKLY!
I have been suggesting steps to take for the past four weeks. Take a look at the archived newsletters , especially March 11th and March 15th. and you will see four weeks ago I advised you to FIND MONEY NOW. I mentioned Paypal and Squarely was giving interest-free loans for six months. How would you feel if you had an extra $50,000 in your bank account
right now?
Those that acted QUICKLY got the funds. Those that did not act quickly lost that opportunity because they are no longer offering the program (too much demand and too little money). The same with the SBA loans. My clients filled out the paperwork immediately and are at the head of the class.
The next section is going to go over facts. Sometimes facts are hard to swallow. These facts are not meant to demean you or scare you. They are being outlined to help you take immediate action. YOU MUST TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION!
Here is Where Your Focus Should Be Right Now
1. If you did not find emergency cash you must find it immediately or you are going to go out of business. Businesses do not close their doors because they run out of good ideas or marketing strategies. They go out of business because they run out of cash.
FACT #1: CASH IS KING, RAISE CASH LIKE I HAVE BEEN SUGGESTING FOR THE LAST MONTH
2. This crisis will end and businesses will re-open. I promise. How you pivot NOW to position your business is going to determine if your doors remain open.
FACT #2: YOU MUST UNDERSTAND AND CREATE A MARKET DOMINATING POSITION THAT WILL ADDRESS THE HOT-BUTTON CONVERSATION THAT WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE HEAD OF YOUR PROSPECTS WHEN BUSINESSES RE-OPEN. THIS IS HOW YOU COMPRISE YOUR MESSAGE THAT WILL THEN BE SENT OUT VIA FACEBOOK, ADWORDS, PRINT MEDIA ETC. THE MESSAGE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF MARKETING!
3. There will be a new world order. Right now everything is on sale. Need a new car? Have you seen the drop in prices? Want to advertise on TV? Check those prices too. FACT #3: TO EXCEL AFTER THE CRISIS YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE A MIND-SHIFT ABOUT YOUR FEES. WHAT SYSTEMS YOU CREATE NOW WILL ALLOW YOU TO THRIVE!
4. Profit has been and will become even more important in the new world order of business. FACT #4: if YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO READ A CASH FLOW STATEMENT, PROFIT AND LOSS STATEMENT AND A BALANCE SHEET YOU MUST LEARN NOW. YOU ALSO MUST LEARN WHAT EXPENSES TO CUT. JUST CUTTING EXPENSES TO SAVE YOU SHORT-TERM MONEY GIVES YOU A HIGHER PROBABILITY FOR NEEDING TO CLOSE YOUR DOORS BECAUSE MISTAKES COST MONEY WHICH CAN BE
ILL-AFFORDED RIGHT NOW. THOSE CLIENTS THAT USE THE INSELMAN PROFIT FORMULA ARE SITTING PRETTY. IT WILL BECOME EVEN MORE IMPORTANT IN ABOUT EIGHT WEEKS! LEARN AND USE THE INSELMAN PROFIT FORMULA.
5. Cash and a plan is the only thing that will allow you to survive and thrive after this crisis. Hopefully you heeded my advice and have found cash. Hope is not a strategy nor a plan.
I promise this crisis like all others will end. Make no mistake a lot of businesses are going to be lost and those that emerge will have to operate differently in the "new post-virus wold". Let me say again, if you have CASH AND A PLAN, the probability of making it and actually growing your business goes up significantly.
