Now is NOT the Time to Be Strategic-Tactics Above All During This Crisis

I hope that this newsletter finds you safe and healthy. We just got word that second friend/acquaintance has died from the Coronavirus. Please take this seriously and socially distance and protect your health. Nothing is more important than your health NOTHING!

As my clients can attest, we have been looking at the facts the past month to position their businesses to be able to survive the crisis and to position them to thrive after the world comes back online.

Here are some Facts to Consider

1. Businesses do not close their doors because they run out of good ideas or marketing strategies. They go out of business because they run out of cash.

FACT #1: CASH IS KING, RAISE CASH LIKE I HAVE BEEN SUGGESTING FOR THE LAST MONTH

2. The economy is like a Ferris wheel. It goes up and it goes down. Right now it is on the down swing. FACT #2:SELL ASSETS ON THE WAY UP NOT THE WAY DOWN

3. There will be a new world order. Right now everything is on sale. Need a new car? Have you seen the drop in prices? Want to advertise on TV? Check those prices too. FACT #3: TO EXCEL AFTER THE CRISIS YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE A MIND-SHIFT ABOUT YOUR FEES.

4. Normally, I recommend strategy over tactics. A Crisis is different. In a crisis you must shift to tactical thinking over strategy.

FACT #4: TACTICAL THINKING RIGHT NOW SHOULD CENTER AROUND SURVIVAL. NEXT YOUR THINKING SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON CREATING A MARKET DOMINATING POSITION SO YOU CAN LITERALLY CRUSH YOUR COMPETITION. THAT IS THE KEY TO A QUICK BOUNCE-BACK.

5. I want you tho think of your business like a boat. If your boat has a hole in it prior to going through a storm, good luck in surviving the storm. However, if you were able to identify where the hole(s) were in your boat prior to the storm, you would have a much greater probability of surviving the storm.

FACT#5: YOU MUST IDENTIFY WHERE THE HOLES WERE IN YOUR BUSINESS PRIOR TO THE CRISIS SO YOU KNOW WHAT TO PATCH IMMEDIATLY SO YOU SURVIVE THE CRISIS.
