Hi
Ever go on social media and there is a guru for every topic telling you what to do. One of the reasons why our clients achieve tremendous results is because we mentor our clients not coach our clients.
What is the difference? Here is a copy and a paste of an email from one of our clients:
Dear Paul:
Let me start off by saying that when we started working together you were not my favorite person. The first month working with you caused so much marital stress that my wife and I even contemplated divorce.
Now eleven months later how can I even begin to thank you for your advice, mentoring, friendship and strategies?
You were the first coach that I ever had that was not a cheerleader or someone telling me great ideas to implement. You were different because you told me what not to do.
My wife loves to spend and spend and spend. She wanted to get a larger home and I was all set to sign. You told me if I get that house you will not work with me. You told me if I got that house I would be bankrupt very shortly there-after. I lost many night's sleep after that conversation. When I finally decided to confront my wife with your advice the stuff hit the fan. Words and feelings poured out of the two of us like I cannot even
describe.
You were kind, patient and got both of us on the phone. We spoke day and night and weekends that horrible week. Then something clicked in my wife and me that was transforming. We realized the truth. The truth was we were broke, spent way too much money, had no strategy and basically lived the past 15 years on a hope and a prayer which ultimately caused tremendous daily stress.
This transformation only came about because you were steadfast and kept telling us NO! NO! NO! That was way different than others that I had worked with before.
Now eleven months later, our marriage is stronger than ever. We are both content and happy. We are executing the plan and strategies that you and I created.
In eleven months we have goals, we are saving for retirement, we have almost doubled our business, we are practicing gratitude and we understand the happy and fulfilling journey that we are on. For the first time in years I am sleeping well and I have lost over 20 pounds.
Thank you for all that you have done for us!
I saw your newsletter the other day and want to send our heartfelt condolences about your dog Jaxson. He was a beautiful dog. Paul I am concerned about you. Who do you talk to? Who helps you? You are always giving, giving and giving. If we can help you in any way just like you are available to us day or night feel free to reach out to us.
Thank you for being my friend, but more for being my mentor. You have literally changed my life!
Sincerely,
AC
Obsessed with your success,
Paul Inselman
